Días de sombra y sol es un compilado de nuevas piezas hechas durante la pandemia que incluyen nuevas texturas, estructuras más simples y momentos de improvización libre que dejan un intermedio entre la planeación minuseosa y la libertad y la ligereza de solo ser. Diría que es un álbum New Age con toques de jazz, guitarra clásica y ambient; géneros que me han gustado y me han acompañado y que veo sercanos en su minimalismo.
Mucha inspiración está tomada en la dinámica de la música de videojuegos, en el sentido de que loops se repiten en partes definidas con melodías que van acompañando al escucha en su tarea. Así mismo, este disco habla de estar acompañado en la contemplación sin dejar de lado que la propia estructura puede decirte algo, tal vez no una historia densa y compleja, pero sí dejar el estado neutral de una poesía atenta.
Cabe decir que también hay inspiración de los haiku y el minimalismo que esto trae a colación: sustancial, breve y hermoso.

Días de sombra y sol is a compilation of new pieces made during the pandemic that include new textures, simpler structures, and moments of free improvisation that leave an interval between painstaking planning and the freedom and lightness of just being. I would say that it is a New Age album with hints of jazz, classical guitar and ambient; genres that I have liked and have accompanied me and that I see close by in their minimalism.
A lot of inspiration is taken from the dynamics of video game music, in the sense that loops are repeated in defined parts with melodies that accompany the listener in his task. Likewise, this record speaks of being accompanied in contemplation without neglecting the fact that the structure itself can tell you something, perhaps not a dense and complex story, but leaving the neutral state of attentive poetry.
It should be said that there is also inspiration from haiku and the minimalism that this brings up: substantial, brief and beautiful.
